Sarah Knaup, L.Ac.
Sarah is a licensed acupuncturist, whose caring and gentle nature will put even the most needle phobic person at ease. She earned a Master of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine, a 4 year program at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Sarah is licensed in the state of California as well as nationally licensed in acupuncture and herbology.
Sarah has focused her practice on overall women's health including fertility, menstruation, and pregnancy. She has worked closely with leading reproductive endocrinologists, providing acupuncture during and after their IUI or IVF cycles.
Sarah also has valuable knowledge with treating many types of pain. She completed an internship at UCSD's RIMAC (Center for Sports Medicine) and assisted Kenneth Luke at Acusport while completing her studies at PCOM.
Sarah's experience extends to include an internship at the San Diego Hospice and the Downtown Geriatric Clinic. Sarah believes her well-rounded background is an asset to her patients and overall care. She incorporates cupping, tui-na, gua sha, electro acupuncture, moxibustion and herbs into her treatments. She has practiced acupuncture in San Diego since 2005.
Sarah is my own acupuncturist of choice. Sarah helps keep the chronic problems associated with having spent a few years in a wheelchair at bay. She is one of the most talented acupuncturists I've ever had the pleasure of working with, and a truly loving and caring person. You will LOVE her!
